Job summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Food Service Host to join our Food & Nutrition Services team, interacting directly with patients to ensure nutritious meals and an outstanding dining experience during their hospital stay.

The role includes serving meals, assisting with menu choices, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a patient-centered environment. Hours include 3:30pm–8:00pm, with every other weekend and holiday required.

Qualifications

• Enjoys working directly with people and providing outstanding customer service.
• Has experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing environment.
• Experience serving patients, residents, or guests is preferred.
• Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Food Service Host to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. In this role, you'll interact directly with patients to help ensure they receive nutritious meals and an outstanding dining experience during their hospital stay.

Schedule

• As scheduled
• Shifts scheduled between 3:30pm and 8:00pm
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Please note: We are not considering high school students for this position at this time.
