Job summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a part-time Food Service Host to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. You will interact directly with patients to help ensure they receive nutritious meals and an outstanding dining experience during their hospital stay.

Shifts total 16 hours per week, scheduled between 3:30pm and 8:00pm, with every other weekend and holiday required. Prior customer service or food service experience is preferred, and a professional, compassionate approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to interact with patients courteously and professionally.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meal selection and service.
• Deliver and serve meals while maintaining high service standards.
• Ensure meals are served accurately and on time and maintain sanitation.
