Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility in Pennsylvania.

You will ensure high food quality, safety, and patient satisfaction while managing inventory, staff, and compliance with regulations. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, cross-functional coordination with client managers, and adherence to infection control practices.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of quantity food production/service and personnel supervision experience.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state and county law).
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain FSM and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days of employment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the food service program at a single site to ensure high quality, safety, and customer service.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, inventory, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions.
• Perform dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher duties as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Ensure infection control and sanitation procedures and safe use of cleaning products.
• Maintain punctuality and complete tasks on schedule.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with supervisors, client staff, residents, and guests.
