Job summary

Food City is hiring Food Service Associates to support daily operations in a friendly, team-based environment. You will greet customers, assist with meal preparation, and ensure quality, safety, and freshness of products.

Role involves standing for shifts, preparing grill orders, slicing meats and cheeses, rotating stock, and maintaining clean workstations. Prior food service helpful but not required; on-site work and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routines with daily interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service to support the store mission.
• Prepare all food for the Food Service department per guidelines and ensure quality products.
• Prepare grill orders and slice meats and cheeses.
• Rotate stock properly and maintain correct product dates and weights.
• Keep workstation clean and organized and assist with daily operations.
