Food City is hiring for Food Service Associates to deliver friendly customer service and help with food preparation. You will greet customers, prepare grill items, slice meats and cheeses, and maintain clean workstations while following food safety guidelines. On-site positions require reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Able to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to time policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and friendly atmosphere through teamwork.
• Greet and speak to customers and provide prompt service.
• Prepare food for Food Service department per guidelines; grill orders.
• Slice meats and cheeses and assist in proper product rotation.
• Keep workstation neat and clean and follow food safety program.
• Assist in ordering and ensuring proper packaging and weights on products.
