Food City in Elizabethton, TN is hiring for Food Service Associates to support daily operations in the Food Service department. You will greet customers, provide friendly service, and prepare food items according to guidelines.

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork. Responsibilities include preparing grill orders, slicing meats and cheeses, maintaining proper product rotation, and assisting in stocking while complying with safety

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and work with various people daily
• On-site attendance to adhere to time policies

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times
• Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
• Prepare all food for Food Service department per guidelines
• Prepare and produce Quality food to meet expectations
• Prepare grill orders and use fryer per guidelines
• Slice meats and cheeses
• Rotate products in coolers and freezers and check codes
• Assist in stocking and ordering products
• Ensure self-service packaged products have correct weights/ingredients
• Cross-train in multiple areas
