Food City is hiring for a Food Service Associate to support our mission of running the best store in town. You will greet customers, provide prompt service, and maintain a clean, friendly environment while assisting in food preparation and stock rotation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to food safety practices, and flexibility to work in multiple areas. On-site work with regular shifts is required, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned company that prioritizes associates

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks with daily interaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times.
• Prepare all food for the Food Service department per guidelines.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet customer and company expectations.
• Assist in ordering product and supplies for daily operation.
• Cross-train in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.
