Job summary

Utility Worker at Sodexo supports kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas. You will clean equipment, floors, walls, and storage spaces, and assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks.

Shifts are afternoon/evenings with some weekends/holidays; full-time or part-time opportunities are available. You may lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods during your shift.

Qualifications

• No prior related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using chemicals to ensure sanitation.
• Restock supplies (soap, towels, cleaning materials).
• Significant walking or mobility required.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; shifts may exceed 8 hours.
• Lift up to 35 pounds; occasionally with 50 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time; other duties may be assigned.
