Job summary

Sodexo at OU Health – University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City is hiring a Utility Worker. You will support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas.

The role involves cleaning equipment, transporting supplies, basic setup/breakdown, and adhering to sanitation standards. A High School diploma or GED is required; afternoons/evenings shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies (soap, towels, cleaning materials).
• Move and transport supplies as needed; assist with setup and breakdown tasks.
