Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to support kitchen and facility operations at the University location. You will help maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas, including equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces.

The role requires basic sanitation knowledge; high school diploma or equivalent; and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible shifts and interview-based scheduling are offered with opportunities for growth within Sodexo.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No prior related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean, and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment using specified chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Significant walking or mobility; stand for extended shifts over 8 hours.
• Lifts up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
