Meriwether Godsey is hiring a Cafeteria/Food Services Associate for Sweet Briar College in Amherst, VA. This temporary position offers hourly pay and requires 1–2 years of food service experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
• Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals while handling exchanges quickly and efficiently
• Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria area; assist in setup, maintenance, and breakdown
• Serve and replenish food from food counters and steam tables
• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods and properly store food
• Keep cafeteria areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards
• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Cafeteria/Food Services Associateat Sweet Briar College, located in Amherst, VA.

• Temporary
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Pay rate: $14-$15 per hour

What you will do:

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude

• Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria area; assist in the set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of the cafeteria, food serving, and beverage areas.

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods and properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Keep cafeteria areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
