Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District 191 is seeking a part-time School Nutrition Assistant to join our Nutrition Services team. The role involves preparing food for students in compliance with health and sanitation standards, with a 3.75 hour daily shift across 180 days per year.

Start date is negotiable; new hires must obtain Level 1 Certification from the School Nutrition Association within 90 days by taking two free online courses. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Position Overview

• Days: 5 days a week, 180 days per year
• Hours: 3.75 hours/day, shift is approximately 10:15 am - 2:00 pm
• Start Date: 10/19/26 or to be determined and negotiable with the candidate
• Benefits: Food & Nutrition Services Contract

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing food to be served to students by complying with all applicable sanitation and health standards and following established food production programs and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Obtain Level 1 Certification from School Nutrition Association within 90 days of hire by taking 2 free online courses
