Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services worker to assist in preparation and service of food to students in a school setting. This district-wide float position runs 7:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday during the school year, 6.5 hours with a 30-minute unpaid break.

Responsibilities include food preparation, cashier duties, and supporting students with meal options and technology for cashier functions; requires ServSafe certification within 6 months and a high school diploma

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of commercial food service equipment.
  • Ability to maintain records.
  • Ability to operate computer/cash registers.
  • Able to verbally communicate with co-workers, students, and staff.
  • Able to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner.

Nutrition Services employee: District-wide Float

Hours: 6.5 hours including six hours paid time with a 30 minute upaid break per day, 7:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday school year position

Category I: $19.12 to $23.78 per hour, benefits eligible based on the current Nutrition Services contract

Job Summary

The Nutrition Services worker assists in preparation and service of food to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities

Rquired License/Certification
