Job summary

Meriwether Godsey is seeking a Food Service Associate for a private, coeducational college-preparatory school in Holderness, NH. This full-time role runs weekdays from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with weekend availability a plus, and includes free meals and uniforms.

You will greet customers, help oversee catering activities, operate registers and terminals, transport and set up meals, and keep dining areas and kitchens clean and well organized.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related food service experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to converse with faculty, students and staff with ease.
• Flexibility; ability to switch between locations and duties.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Oversee that catering activities run smoothly.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales, and card terminals efficiently.
• Transport food to serving area and assist setup/breakdown.
• Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables.
• Assist in hot/cold food preparation and proper storage.
• Keep dining and kitchen areas neat and organized.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain sanitation through daily/weekly cleaning tasks.
• Inspect workstations for service standards compliance.
• Participate in safety meetings, training and hazard assessments.

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Food Service Associate at a private, coeducational college-preparatory school in Holderness, NH.

• Full-time
• Weekdays from 6 am-2:30 pm, but weekend availability is a plus
• Free Meals and Uniform

$250.00 Sign-On Bonus (payable after 90 days of employment)

What The Food Service Associate Will Do

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
• Help to oversee that catering activities run smoothly
• Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals while handling exchanges in a quick, efficient manner
• Transport food and supplies to the serving area; assist in the set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of dining, food serving, and beverage areas.
• Serve and replenish food from food counters and steam tables.
• Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Keep dining room areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
