Job summary

Meriwether Godsey is seeking a Full-time Food Service Associate to work in the Brooks School cafeteria in North Andover, MA. The role involves greeting customers, operating registers and food service equipment, and assisting with setting up, serving, and replenishing meals.

Experience of 2–5 years in food service is preferred, along with a High School Diploma. Strong communication and organizational skills, flexibility, and reliable transportation are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals while handling exchanges in a quick, efficient manner.
• Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria area; assist in the set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of cafeteria, food serving, and beverage areas.
• Serves and replenishes food from food counters and steam tables.
• Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Keep cafeteria areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-time Food Service Associate to work in the cafeteria at Brooks School, a boarding school serving over 500 students, faculty, and staff on a 270-acre campus overlooking beautiful Lake Cochichewick in North Andover, MA.

• Full-time
• Must be available to work M-F, 9 am- 4 pm; catering and special events as needed may include evenings and weekends

What The Food Service Associate Will Do

What The Food Service Associate Will Need
