Job summary

Meriwether Godsey is seeking Full-Time Food Service Associates at a private co-educational college preparatory boarding and day school located in Gill, MA. The roles include 2 Snack Bar positions and 1 Pantry position with mainly day shifts; one shift runs Tue-Sat 11:45 am-8:15 pm.

Pay is $18-$19 per hour. Responsibilities include serving, setting up and breaking down the cafeteria, maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas, and following safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to switch between locations and duties.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria and assist in set-up, maintenance, and breakdown.
• Serve and replenish food from counters and steam tables.
• Keep dining room and kitchen areas neat and organized.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas through daily/weekly tasks.
• Inspect workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.

What The Food Service Associate Will Do

• Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
• Transport food and supplies to the cafeteria: assist in the set-up, maintenance, breakdown of the cafeteria, food serving, and beverage areas.
• Serves and replenishes food from food counters and steam tables.
• Keep dining room areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments
• Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
• Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
