Key Responsibilities

1. Resolving guest queries and complaints at the first point of contact.
2. Interacting with guests and sharing product knowledge on drinks and food.
3. Food service: serving guest orders from the kitchen to the table, clearing tables daily, and conducting weekly hygiene checks.
4. Cleaning down and resetting rooms for the next service.
5. Understanding wine/drinks, serving coffee, etc. - training will be provided on drink varieties.
6. Assisting with housekeeping: stripping rooms after guests depart, changing towels and linen, remaking beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and general cleaning.
7. Handling laundry: bagging and sending items for cleaning.
8. Occasional kitchen portering: operating the dishwasher and storing kitchen and dining items.
9. Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations through knowledge of chemicals (training provided).

Minimum Requirements

• Self-motivated and industrious.
• Basic knowledge of IT and POS systems, able to use standard software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in the hospitality industry is desirable.

Desirable Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Safety certification.
