Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handlers Card is required.
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling.
• Healthcare/restaurant experience is a plus.
• Commitment to customer service and willingness to work with culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties safely.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising quality.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, infection control, risk management, and HACCP guidelines.
• Complete cleaning duties, trash removal, and floor care.
• Assist patients with menu selections, considering allergies and cultural preferences.
• Update patient diets in the management system and manage reports and menus.
• Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking.
• Perform cafeteria duties including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work
• Maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for safe food handling, by following sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan.
• Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping
• Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternative menu in accordance with food allergies, food sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, prints and distributes reports, tallies, menus and meal tickets.
• Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking
• Perform cafeteria duties as assigned including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
