Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Food Service Aide to support inpatient rehabilitation dietary operations. You will prepare high-quality meals, operate kitchen equipment, and ensure safety and sanitation during each shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.
• Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising quality.
• Maintain compliance to regulatory requirements for safe food handling, by following sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan.
• Completes cleaning duties, pulling trash, sweeping, mopping.
• Assist patients in completing menu selections, offering alternatives per allergies, sensitivities, cultural and religious preferences.
• Update and validate diet changes in patient diet management system, print reports, menus and meal tickets.
• Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking.
• Perform cafeteria duties including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Food Handlers Card

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
• Healthcare/restaurant experience
• Commitment to customer service
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders
