Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage sanitation operations in our food safety environment. You will lead hourly Sanitors and Lead Persons, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across designated plant areas.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and adherence to procedures. A strong preference for candidates with sanitation experience and familiarity with PPE is noted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have 6+ months sanitation experience.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in extreme temperatures.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily sanitation staff and leading personnel in assigned areas.
• Direct work to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance for promotions or changes.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and safety handbooks.
• Assist Site Manager with trainings including safety and ERP.
• Investigate accidents and report findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
