Levy Restaurants, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Food Safety Supervisor in Chicago to lead sanitation programs across culinary operations. You will conduct daily sanitation inspections and ensure compliance with state health regulations while guiding staff training and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in facilities/services or related field preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Strong customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with outside vendors and budget management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervising team, including staff development, communication, performance reviews, and accountability.
• Overseeing daily sanitation inspections and enforcing policies.
• Inspecting manufacturing processes to determine sanitation protocols.
• Designing and implementing sanitation policies and protocols.
• Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.
• Planning and distributing staff work schedules for sanitation workers.
• Training sanitation staff and organizing refresher workshops.
• Coordinating services of contractors and external cleaning crews.
