Job summary

Levy Restaurants in Charlotte (Spectrum Center) seeks a Food & Safety Sanitation Supervisor to lead safety and sanitation compliance at the venue, ensuring food safety standards and a proactive safety culture.

The role partners with operations and culinary teams, coaches leaders, maintains records, conducts inspections, and supports OSHA and local initiatives. ServSafe certification preferred; strong communication and organization needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments with safety focus.
• Ability to assess risks and train teams to sustain safety culture.
• Strong communication and teamwork with managers and clients.
• ServSafe or similar certification preferred.
• Passion for safety and sanitation; organized and multi-task capable.

Responsibilities

• Coach leaders to ensure understanding of safety and sanitation standards.
• Train team members on best practices and risk mitigation.
• Maintain safety records such as temperature logs accurately.
• Perform periodic safety inspections and site walk-throughs.
• Lead Levy safety and sanitation program at the venue.
• Coordinate with HR on mandatory safety training tracking.
• Work with operations and culinary teams to manage records.
• Support OSHA, sanitation inspectors and local initiatives.
