Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey seeks a sanitation supervisor to oversee health standards, inspect facilities, and train staff in sanitation practices. You will lead audits, enforce safe food handling, and ensure documentation is complete.

Ideal candidates have ServSafe Alcohol/Manager certifications, strong coaching and communication skills, and flexibility for weekends and peak seasons. This role requires hands-on leadership on site to protect guests and associates.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation; ability to pass ServSafe Alcohol and ServSafe Manager.
• Ability to conduct professional coaching/counseling sessions that improve staff behavior and policy adherence.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct daily sanitation audits and walk-throughs of restaurants to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Enforce proper food handling procedures per health policies.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of all units to ensure guest and associate safety.
• Audit PPE usage to mitigate workplace injuries.
• Lead staff with on-the-job training and corrective retraining.
• Ensure documentation (temperature logs, cleaning checklists) is completed.
• Audit alcohol locations to enforce ID procedures and wristband use.
• Serve as liaison for health inspectors, providing safety records.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with Maintenance on requests.
• Attend weekly maintenance meetings to discuss updates.
