Peterson Farms, Inc. seeks a Food Safety & Quality Technician to support compliance and product integrity. The role operates on a 5:30am–5:30pm, 2-2-3 schedule in DeLand, FL, performing QA tests, inspections, and data evaluation across production stages.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree, 1 year QA experience in food/beverage manufacturing, knowledge of HACCP/SQF, and Juice HACCP certification. Proficiency with MS Office preferred.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• One year experience in a Food or Beverage Manufacturing Quality Assurance role.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and SQF Programs.
• Juice HACCP Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects ingredients and packaging for conformance of product specifications.
• Audits blending and production processes.
• Maintains QA records and housekeeping programs.
• Performs microbiological plating.
• Monitors CPF Water Quality and Retain Program.
• Tracks production for HACCP, GMPs, SQF and SOPs.
• Calibrates laboratory and operational equipment.
• Ensures appropriate packaging and timely shipping of Co-pack samples.
• Inform QA Manager of negative trends and initiate hold reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
