Job summary

Colorado Premium in Greeley, CO seeks a Technical Services Supervisor to provide hands-on support and technical advice to TS technicians and operations partners on food safety and quality. The role requires deep knowledge of HACCP, BRC, USDA regulations and strong leadership in quality programs.

You will supervise quality controls, drive continuous improvements, investigate complaints with root cause analysis, and ensure proper training and documentation across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, food science, nutrition or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in food safety or quality assurance in a protein-related industry.
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of product reporting systems.
• Experience planning product developments, data collection, and interpreting results to drive improvements.
• Experience managing HACCP, GMP, and GFSI programs; knowledge of state/federal food regs.
• Strong problem solving with statistics to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervises TS Technicians and supports plant-wide quality control and sanitation efforts.
• Administers food safety policies and ensures compliance with USDA, BRC, and other requirements.
• Leads continuous improvement for safety, legality, and product quality.
• Investigates customer/consumer complaints using root cause analysis and implements corrective actions.
• Trains staff on TS programs and oversees analytical methods, product review, and QA monitoring.
