Job summary

K2D LLC seeks a Technical Services Supervisor to provide hands-on support and technical guidance to TS technicians and operations partners in food safety and quality. The role requires deep knowledge of Colorado Premium programs, HACCP, BRC and USDA regulations, and the ability to identify opportunities across products and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, food science, nutrition or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance in a protein-related industry.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and knowledge of industry product reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises TS Technicians and supports plant-wide quality control, process control, and sanitation efforts.
• Administers all food safety policies, USDA regulations and BRC third party requirements; models these expectations.
• Investigates customer/consumer complaints using root cause analysis and determines corrective actions.
• Works with the TS Manager to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Leads continuous improvements to safety, legality and quality of products and processes.
