gategroup seeks a hands-on supervisor to lead a 30+ hourly team in a high-volume food production setting in Dallas, TX. You will ensure safety, quality and compliance with HACCP, FDA standards, and airline specifications while controlling labor and food costs.

Responsibilities include training staff, preparing management reports, maintaining policies, and coordinating with maintenance and HR. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership experience in high-volume production or food service.
• Must understand HACCP, FDA regulations and quality specs.
• Experience coaching staff and controlling labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality production standards for all accounts.
• Maintain policies and specs for airline customers and serve as a resource.
• Control food and other controllable costs.
• Collaborate with management to improve unit performance.
• Prepare management reports (attendance, HACCP, labor).
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Verify product coding and accurate airline specifications.
• Conduct inventory and requisitions to minimize waste.
• Train staff on procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
• Monitor manpower planning and shift coverage.
• Oversee employee retention and coaching under union guidelines.
• Ensure wage & hour compliance and proper rest breaks.
• Lead discipline processes and liaise with HR.
