Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure compliance with USDA standards and safety regulations. You will perform manual and automated tests, calibrate equipment, and reinforce GMP best practices.

You will support food safety programs, conduct daily checks, and document findings to prevent non-conforming shipments. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and ongoing training to maintain high hygiene standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with all levels of team members effectively in oral and written communication.
• Computer skills required (Microsoft Applications).
• Customer service skills.
• Accurate record keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily equipment calibration of metal detector, scales, water activity, moisture meters.
• Performs quality inspection of finished products to assure quality and package integrity.
• Tests and verifies packaging/meat grade, appearance, chemical/physical/microbial compliance and sensory attributes.
• Participates in weekly inspections in areas such as pest control, safety, sanitation, and practices.
• Monitors GMPs and other Prerequisite Programs.
• Maintains records of findings and highlights non-conformance.
• Performs package evaluations on finished packages.
