HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Food Runner/Busser for our Chicago, IL property. This on-site role supports the Outlet Manager and servers, expediting orders, bussing tables, and delivering beverages and bread to guests.

The position emphasizes prompt service, proper table settings, and a clean, welcoming dining environment. Responsibilities include maintaining stations, assisting with bar back tasks, and ensuring smooth service flow during all meal periods.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Serve guests beverages, bread, and butter and replenish as necessary.
• Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Expedite, buss, and run orders to guest tables as needed; provide bar back assistance.
