The One Group in Chicago is seeking a Food Runner to join our dynamic team and help deliver an elevated dining experience. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure food moves swiftly and accurately from the kitchen to guests.

Prepare to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining strong attention to detail and guest satisfaction. This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift and carry trays, with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Deliver food quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented from kitchen to guests.
• Describe dishes confidently with full menu knowledge.
• Maintain organized service area and comply with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is prepared and delivered according to THE ONE GROUP’s quality standards.
• Possess full menu knowledge and confidently describe dishes to guests.
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans for efficient service.
• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Offer condiments and accompaniments when appropriate.
• Communicate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs.
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness.
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management.
