Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Assist in plating, garnishing, and arranging dishes at expo for timing and presentation.
• Support the kitchen and dining room during busy periods to maintain smooth service.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively between the dining room and kitchen to ensure a seamless experience.
• Turnover tables quickly and assist with clean-up after service.

What You'll Do

• We believe in Warm Latin Hospitality, welcome every guest like they’re walking into your home
• Serve up the best part of the guest experience – the culinary experience
• Follow our Service Steps as outlined
• Double check each dish at Expo for accuracy, special requests, and timing
• Garnish and finish every plate before it leaves the kitchen, following our recipe specs
• Move with purpose and positivity, staying calm and focused even when the restaurant is buzzing
• Ensure food arrives promptly, presented by seat numbers, and at the right temperature
• Maintain all Health and Sanitation Standards
• Keep a "never walk past a napkin on the floor" mentality
• Act as the link between the dining room and the kitchen, communicating effectively
• Work with Chef and the kitchen to maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked expo area so the kitchen runs efficiently through every rush
• Quickly clean and turnover tables to maintain dining room efficiency
• Handle glassware, silverware, and plateware with care
• Participate in pre-shifts, trainings, and team meetings — because we grow together
• Work together with your teammates to keep the energy high and the service seamless — at Rosa Mexicano, teamwork is always on the menu
