Rosa Mexicano in Boston is seeking a Food Runner to enhance the guest experience with warm hospitality and energy.

In this role you will prepare, garnish, and speed service, coordinate with the kitchen, and keep the dining area clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• Guest Service Experience - 1 year preferred.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Ability to stand on your feet through a shift.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warm Latin hospitality and guide them to their seats.
• Serve up the culinary experience and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow our Service Steps as outlined.
• Double check each dish for accuracy, special requests, and timing.
• Garnish and finish every plate before it leaves the kitchen.
• Move with purpose and stay calm during busy shifts.
• Ensure food arrives promptly and at the right temperature.
• Maintain all health and sanitation standards.
• Communicate between dining room and kitchen.
• Keep expo area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Turn over tables quickly to maintain efficiency.
• Handle glassware, silverware, and plateware with care.
• Participate in pre-shifts, trainings, and team meetings.
• Work with teammates to keep energy high and service seamless.

What You'll Do

• Garnish and finish every plate before it leaves the kitchen, following our recipe specs
• Move with purpose and positivity, staying calm and focused even when the restaurant is buzzing
• Ensure food arrives promptly, presented by seat numbers, and at the right temperature
• Maintain all Health and Sanitation Standards
• Keep a 'never walk past a napkin on the floor' mentality
• Act as the link between the dining room and the kitchen, communicating effectively
• Work with Chef and the kitchen to maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked expo area so the kitchen runs efficiently through every rush
• Quickly clean and turnover tables to maintain dining room efficiency
• Handle glassware, silverware, and plateware with care
• Participate in pre-shifts, trainings, and team meetings — because we grow together
• Work together with your teammates to keep the energy high and the service seamless — at Rosa Mexicano, teamwork is always on the menu
