Job summary

Rosa Mexicano in New York City is seeking a Busser to join our vibrant dining team. You will warmly greet guests coming into the dining room and support the staff by keeping tables clean, stocked, and turning quickly for the next guests.

Bring your energy, teamwork, and hospitality to our fast-paced service environment, with opportunities to learn and grow within a renowned Mexican dining concept in the Union Square area.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience preferred (1 year)
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Able to stand for extended shifts without fatigue
• HS Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and hospitality
• Own the tableside experience including Guacamole service
• Maintain energy in the dining room and ensure smooth turnover
• Keep service areas clean, organized and stocked
• Follow Rosa Mexicano's service steps and sanitation standards
• Communicate proactively with team to ensure seamless service

What You'll Do

• We believe in Warm Latin Hospitality, welcome every guest like they're walking into your home
• Own the best part of the guest experience - Tableside Guacamole
• Be the heartbeat of the dining room - keeping the energy flowing, the tables turning, and the experience seamless
• Help create a warm, welcoming environment where every guest feels noticed and cared for

• Maintain all Health and Sanitation Standards
• Keep a "never walk past a napkin on the floor" mentality
• Communicate constantly and quietly with Management and service staff to ensure seamless service for all guests
• Keep the dining room, service stations, and sidework areas organized, stocked, and spotless - because every detail matters
• Quickly clean and turnover tables to maintain dining room efficiency
• Handle glassware, silverware, and plateware with care
• Participate in pre-shifts, trainings, and team meetings - because we grow together
• Work together with your teammates to keep the energy high and the service seamless - at Rosa Mexicano, teamwork is always on the menu

Skills and Qualifications

• Guest Service Experience - 1 Year preferred
• Ability to multi-task while staying organized
• Ability to stand on your feet through a shift
