Job summary

Abode Services seeks a Food Resource Coordinator to oversee food resources for site-based Supportive Housing programs. You’ll manage external partnerships, ensure storage compliance, coordinate deliveries, and complete necessary reporting to support stable housing outcomes.

You will build relationships with providers, coordinate logistics, and support nutrition education while maintaining high professional standards and a flexible, team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in resource coordination, community outreach and/or related roles.
• 2 years of experience working with people facing homelessness, substance abuse issues, and individuals in the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with external food providers to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Serve as a liaison with food providers and community contacts; build relationships and provide hand-offs to the appropriate organizational lead.
• Forge new partnerships to address food insecurity and establish comprehensive food services.
• Coordinate food pickup schedules with site staff and provide in-person pickup, drop-off, monitoring, and logistics support.
• Oversee data quality control and reporting for the food service program.
• Ensure compliance with food storage and usage standards set by providers at each site.
• Comfortable providing in-person support at Supportive Housing Sites.
