Job summary

DuPagePads is seeking a Food and Resource Service Coordinator to manage the daily operations of the kitchen, pantry, and Resource Room 118. The role focuses on safe handling of food, welcoming service, and efficient distribution for clients and volunteers.

You will coordinate volunteers, oversee inventory, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while collaborating with staff and community partners to provide consistent access to nutritious resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in food service, pantry, or inventory management.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently and maintain records.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the kitchen, pantry, and Resource Room 118 during meal preparation and distribution.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe storage areas and walkways.
• Receive and distribute food deliveries and donations.
• Coordinate daily volunteer assignments and supervise volunteers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare weekly reports.
