Job summary

Abode is seeking a Program Manager, Housing to oversee Alameda County housing programs focused on ending homelessness. You will lead housing services, supervise staff, and coordinate with county and city partners to sustain and grow housing options for participants.

The role requires managing large contracts, building cross-team collaborations, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements while maintaining data reporting and HMIS submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field.
• 2 years of professional experience in social work or related fields and experience in rental housing programs for low income households.
• 2 years managing complex contracts over $1M.
• Experience designing and operating effective programs with policies and procedures.
• Valid California driver's license and clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Abode Services housing programs.
• Manage multiple housing programs and build relationships with community partners.
• Serve as primary liaison with County and City departments and partners.
• Supervise Housing Services Coordinators and Housing Specialists.
• Develop and monitor housing rental programs for homeless households.
• Maintain inventory of affordable housing units secured by direct leases.
• Participate in County Housing Team meetings and policy development.
• Ensure contract compliance, reporting, and monitoring across programs.
