Job summary

Abode Services in Sunnyvale, California seeks a Food Resource Coordinator to manage site-based food resources, coordinate with external providers, ensure food storage compliance, and report on program activities.

You will build partnerships across housing locations, support nutrition and safety training, and provide in-person coverage at sites as needed, with potential hybrid work after one year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of resource coordination or community outreach experience.
• Experience with homelessness, substance use issues, and criminal justice populations preferred.
• Valid California driver's license and a clean DMV record required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with external food providers.
• Coordinate food deliveries to multiple housing sites.
• Ensure compliance with food storage regulations.
• Oversee data quality control and reporting for the food service program.
• Provide in-person support at Supportive Housing sites.
• Attend external meetings and training on food safety.
• Collaborate with team and adapt priorities to program needs.
• Assist with transportation and logistics for food resources.
