Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is hiring for a quality assurance role on the third shift at our Momence, Illinois facility. You will inspect raw materials, packaging components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality and food safety specifications, and document processes accordingly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in food/beverage environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify raw materials, packaging components, and finished products against quality specs.
• Monitor and document quality processes: code date verification, scale calibration, metal detection, sanitation, traceability.
• Identify and escalate non-conforming materials with Production and Quality teams.
• Assist with HACCP, FSMA, environmental monitoring, corrective actions, and investigations.
• Support continuous improvement in product quality, safety, and operations.
• Train production staff on quality procedures and documentation.
