Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is hiring for a quality-focused role at our Crown Point, Indiana facility on the full-time second shift. You will inspect materials, verify quality, document records, and support FSMA/HACCP compliance while training production staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing, preferably in food/ingredient manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and good English communication skills. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in food/ingredient manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify raw materials, packaging components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and customer specifications.
• Identify, isolate, document, and escalate non-conforming materials while partnering with Production and Quality leadership to investigate and resolve issues.
• Monitor and verify critical food safety and quality controls, including code dates, scale calibrations, metal detection systems, sanitation checks, and production documentation.
• Support compliance with FSMA, HACCP, traceability, and regulatory requirements through accurate recordkeeping and verification activities.
• Participate in incident investigations, corrective actions, environmental monitoring programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and coach production team members on quality standards, food safety procedures, and documentation accuracy.
