Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is hiring for a full‑time quality assurance/production role on the 3rd shift at our Farm Plant facility in Momence, Illinois. You will inspect materials and products, monitor quality processes, and support safety and documentation practices to ensure compliance with HACCP, FSMA, and company standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with 2+ years of manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years of manufacturing experience preferred, ideally in food/beverage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify raw materials, packaging components, and finished products to meet quality and food safety specs.
• Document quality processes including code dates, scale calibration, metal detection, sanitation, and traceability.
• Identify and escalate non-conforming materials or products with leadership to resolve issues.
• Support food safety and regulatory compliance activities (HACCP, FSMA, environmental monitoring, corrective actions).
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product quality, food safety, and operations.
• Train and support production team on quality procedures, food safety requirements, and documentation practices.
