Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science-related field or 1+ years in a QA position.
• Basic knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English at a proficient level.
• Basic computer skills including e-mail, Word and Excel.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Document and report food safety or quality issues and assist in corrective actions.
• Assist with pre-operational inspection of production plant and equipment.
• Perform process verification checks at critical food safety and quality points.
• Participate in corrective actions when verifications fall outside limits.
• Verify environment conditions such as temperature and sanitizer levels.
• Complete Hold Tags and Cooling Tags to isolate non-conforming materials.
• Maintain records and follow documentation protocols.
