Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods, Century Plant in Hillsboro, OR, is hiring a Quality Assurance professional to monitor production process controls, document quality issues, and drive corrective actions. The role requires an associate degree or QA experience, with knowledge of GMPs and HACCP.

Strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential. The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth within Reser’s multi-plant network.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1+ year QA experience required.
• Basic GMP, food safety, and safety requirements knowledge.
• English reading/writing/listening proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Document and report food safety or quality issues and assist corrective actions.
• Assist with pre-operational inspection of production plant and equipment.
• Perform process verification checks at critical food safety and quality points.
• Assist in determining corrective actions when verification checks fail.
• Verify the facility environment including temperature and sanitizer concentrations.
• Complete Hold Tags and Cooling Tags to isolate non-conforming ingredients or products.
• Conduct daily product reviews and evaluate sensory attributes of finished products.
• Maintain records and follow documentation protocols as assigned.
• Adhere to HACCP, GMPs, foreign material control, plant sanitation and QA programs.
• Train in HACCP as part of CCP monitoring.
