Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to monitor critical process control points during production and document any safety or quality issues.

You will participate in corrective actions, verify HACCP plans, and maintain accurate records. This role requires an Associate degree or 1+ year QA experience, English proficiency, and basic computer skills. Full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science-related field or 1+ year QA experience.
• Basic knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety, and Safety requirements.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently for documentation.
• Basic computer skills; e-mail, Word, Excel.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Document and report food safety or quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with pre-operational inspection of plant and equipment.
• Perform CCP verifications according to HACCP and Plans.
• Maintain records and documentation per protocols.
• Monitor environment conditions (temperature, sanitizers) in facility.
• Complete hold and cooling tags to isolate non-conforming ingredients or products.
• Support daily product reviews and evaluate sensory attributes.
• Adhere to HACCP and GMP programs and related requirements.
• Train in HACCP and follow approved HACCP plans.
