Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a QA Tech to perform product testing and sample preparation, ensuring compliance with SQF and company quality systems. You will handle microbiological and chemical analyses, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced dairy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent coursework required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Experience in food and beverage industry preferred.
• Ability to flavor milk-based, sugar-based, and caffeine-based products.

Responsibilities

• Test finished products, raw materials and related items.
• Perform microbiological and chemical testing.
• Maintain weight control, antibiotic testing, and lab equipment calibration.
• Communicate with departments to report issues affecting production.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Obtain and maintain State antibiotic testing certification.
• Adhere to SQF and food safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and wear PPE as required.
• Work collaboratively in a team and support continuous improvement.
