Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a QA Supervisor to provide direction to quality assurance and lab staff, ensuring finished products meet top food safety and quality standards. You will partner with the quality manager to foster a culture of safety, supervise hourly employees, and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

The role includes developing QA procedures, supporting audits, and maintaining certifications such as SQF, Kosher, Halal, and Organic while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in food science, biological sciences, or related field.
• 2–5 years of quality assurance/manufacturing experience in food/beverage facilities.
• Demonstrated leadership attributes; supervisor experience preferred.
• PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner certifications preferred; may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to QA and laboratory staff to ensure food safety and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain food safety/quality programs and SOPs at the facility.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members; drive continuous improvement.
• Support audits from customers, regulators and third parties.
• Oversee lab testing procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure GMP and company policies are followed and communicate changes to staff.
