Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the QA and laboratory team in achieving top food safety and quality standards. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure GMP adherence, and coordinate with the quality manager to drive program improvements.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with occasional weekends. The role emphasizes coaching, training, and maintaining certifications such as SQF, Kosher, Halal, and Organic, while partnering with operations to

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in food science, biological sciences, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of quality assurance, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Demonstrated leadership attributes or team leadership experience; supervisor experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License - PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner certifications preferred; may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction and supervision to QA and laboratory employees who verify DFA products meet food safety and quality standards.
• Assist the quality manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality programs at the facility.
• Write, review, and implement quality assurance procedures.
• Support and coordinate testing procedures or equipment upgrades and lab procurement.
