Job summary

The position involves microbiological and chemical testing of finished products and raw materials, routine lab maintenance, and strict adherence to SQF and GMP standards. Candidates should be able to work flexible hours and maintain a safe, sanitary workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in related field or coursework equivalent.
• Able to perform basic math with various units of measure.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Willingness to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a wet environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological and chemical testing of finished products and raw materials.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and ensure sanitation.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Adhere to SQF, GMP, and food safety requirements.
• Communicate issues to management and collaborate with departments.
• Follow PPE, safety practices, and contribute to process improvements.
