Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a QC Technician to join the production QA team on the day shift (6 AM to 4:30 PM) with Sundays off in Atlanta, GA.

You will verify labels, portions, meal bags, and shipping readiness, perform on-the-line checks against recipes, and escalate quality issues to FSQA while upholding GMP and SQF standards.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to QA sheets, scales, and measurement tools to ensure product quality from labeling through final packing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in QA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform labeling inspections for correct product name and labels.
• Distribute correct QC samples and verify portions with QA sheets.
• Verify meal bag contents and ensure proper bag line setup.
• Inspect lines for line setup, box call outs and shipping readiness.
• Escalate issues to FSQA Supervisor as needed.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF food safety programs.
