Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Supervisor for our Forest Park, IL facility. You will lead a hands-on quality team, uphold GMPs, ensure food safety, and drive daily performance in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.

You will develop CAPA and lead root-cause analyses while collaborating with production on process improvements. The role requires 3-5 years in QA, a BS in a related field, and HACCP/GFSI familiarity. Some programs offer growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of quality experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• B.S. degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Experience with CAPAs and root cause analysis.
• HACCP certification and GFSI audits experience such as FSSC or SQF is a plus.
• PCQI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and food safety accountability during operations.
• Develop and manage CAPA and corrective actions using root cause analysis and monitor effectiveness.
• Manage the quality and sanitation team: scheduling, timecards, tasks, and training.
• Collaborate with production to monitor processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Initiate, track, and trend NCRs/CAPAs.
