Job summary

CPS Inc. in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA function for onsite manufacturing. The role ensures products meet food safety standards and regulatory requirements, guiding the QA team on lab, inspection, and process controls.

You will partner with Production, Operations, Maintenance, and Warehouse to sustain quality systems, drive CAPA, investigations, and continuous improvement, and uphold SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA, and USDA compliance on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive QA leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA and USDA requirements.
• Proven track record in audits, CAPA, and nonconformances.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the QA team including technicians and laboratory staff.
• Oversee QA activities across receiving, production, lab, warehouse and shipping.
• Ensure products and processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain QA documentation, testing results, and record-keeping per regulations.
• Lead internal and external audits and manage CAPA processes.
• Monitor quality trends and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.
